Michael Tyler is a freelance writer, with a focus on social/political commentaries, position pieces and perspectives. The Skin You Live In is his first children’s book, and the first book ever published by the Chicago Children’s Museum. Tyler has also authored: Water for the Soul: A Father’s Hope for His Son (a collection of life-lessons and observations), Sow the Seeds: A Composition in Verse (a poetry journal) and editor for Fries, Thighs & Lies: The Girlfriends Guide to Getting The Skinny On Fat (Deborah Arneson, clinical nutritionist). He is currently seeking to place nine children’s book manuscripts, a novel trilogy and advance teleplays/screenplays to production.
